And when that glorious quest IS yours, and Failure itself stands irked,

HOW THIS RESOURCE CAME ABOUT -- A PERSONAL NOTE

Despite all the "yacking" that has gone on in this country regarding "The American Dream," inspiring, insightful, and comprehensive information on how to go about attaining it, has been surprisingly difficult to obtain.

In short, where was "THE BOOK"?...

THE RESOURCE THAT WOULD GIVE PEOPLE THE COURAGE TO MARCH THROUGH BRICK WALLS -- AND THE KNOWLEDGE, "STREET SMARTS," AND INSIGHTS TO VAULT OVER THEM IN STYLE?

THE RESOURCE THAT CORRALLED THE "REAL WORLD" REALITIES OF HOW TO ACHIEVE THE AMERICAN DREAM, FOR AS WIDE AN AUDIENCE SPECTRUM AS POSSIBLE?

THE RESOURCE THAT ADDRESSED NOT ONLY THE MAJOR LEGAL AND BUSINESS PREREQUISITES TO SUCCESS, BUT ALSO THE CRUCIAL SUBJECTS OF MOTIVATION, FEAR, SELF-PRESERVATION, AND SELF-ATTAINMENT?

THE RESOURCE THAT ENVISIONED SEEING THE MANY SUBJECTS INVOLVED IN DREAM ATTAINMENT AS A UNIFIED WHOLE: AS NEEDING TO COVER ALL OF ONE'S LIFE OPTIONS OF

WORKING FOR ONESELF OR OTHERS, AND

BUYING, STARTING, OR EVEN LEASING (-- WHY NOT! -- AND READ ON!) A BUSINESS,

BY ONESELF -- OR WITH OTHERS?

THE RESOURCE THAT WOULD EMPOWER AND INSPIRE ANY WHO WANTED TO BETTER THEIR INDIVIDUAL LIFE CIRCUMSTANCES -- AND WERE WILLING TO LEAVE BEHIND (AT LEAST TEMPORARILY) THOSE WHO KEEP THEIR DREAMS ALIVE BY NEVER DOING THEM?

IN SHORT, "THE BOOK" THAT EVEN A CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER WOULD PROFIT FROM --

AND THEN INSIST THAT HIS OR HER CHILDREN READ?!

It was not to be found at Harvard Business School, Harvard Law School, or Yale -- at which I was privileged to learn.

It was not to be found in the business, legal, or other "real"(!) worlds -- in which we all have "so much to learn!"

And it was not to be found, for a very simple reason (-- besides many excellent parties, and those other of life's distractions!):

It, amazingly -- and tragically -- DID NOT EXIST.

A conviction formed (I'm appreciatively(!) "guilty"!) that it would take an MBA, an attorney, a businessperson, someone who had been on both sides of the hiring table, someone who knew both some theory and practice of finance and marketing, someone who had "triumphed over(!) some successes(!)" and "enjoyed(!) some failures(!)," someone who valued writing, someone who treasured quotations, someone who -- whether it would prove on target or not -- had a idea of what a final product should look like -- and, finally, and most important of all,

someone who was willing to risk failing at the task.1

1 (A key moral of this resource -- AND OF LIFE!!!!!!)

So, thankful for my good fortune in both envisioning a final product and in being willing to risk failing, I pursued the project with passion.

DOES "TH(AT) BOOK" now exist?

While no human effort is without fault, we are ready to let

YOU BE THE JUDGE

AS TO WHETHER

Attaining American Dreams !!!!!! TM

IS "RIGHT"(!) FOR YOU(!)

-- IN ALL SENSES!!!!!!

And if we haven't "gotten it 'right' yet,"

WE SURELY SHALL!!!!!!

-- WHICH IS THE ONLY ATTITUDE WORTHY OF US ALL!!!!!!

May our failures be many

-- for if they are,

so will the number, and quality, of our ATTAINED dreams.
